Italian-Bangladeshi in London. A community within a community?

چکیده
Based on a multi-sited ethnography in Italy and the United Kingdom, this contribution focuses onward migration of Italian-Bangladeshis to London, that is, Bangladeshi migrants who acquired EU citizenship then moved British Capital. After presentation reasons for migration, article will analyse representation, constructed by interviewed relationships between them (coming from different districts Bangladesh) members “historical” community, London since generations (originating primarily district Sylhet). Specifically, it focus mistrust – sometimes fully-fledged hostility two communities as was narrated Italian-Bangladeshi respondents, framing dichotomy citizens (Southern) European citizens; wider residents origin but originating regional contexts Bangladesh; an effect social stratification “Bangladeshi Diaspora” world.
